About the role
The Case Management Officer (Patient Financial Services Officer) ensures that patients receive timely and financially appropriate care by verifying eligibility, managing authorizations, and supporting billing continuity for inpatient services.
Key responsibilities
- Receive elective admission requests from clinic teams and physician referrals.
- Determine patient eligibility for treatment before services are provided.
- Perform eligibility verification, cost estimation, and authorization management.
- Review financial documentation and validate coding appropriateness.
- Provide documentation and coding support, as well as financial counselling to patients.
- Enhance clinical efficiency, cost‑effectiveness, and overall patient experience.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
- 2–4 years of clinical experience.
- 1–3 years of experience with medical insurance processes.
Required skills
- Data entry and analysis competency.
- Familiarity with incident/accident reporting procedures.
- Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
- Proficiency in basic computer and administrative tasks.
