Electrical Engineer – Site (Construction)

About the role

ASALI Engineering Consulting & Project Management is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to supervise and coordinate electrical works on large‑scale building projects. The role involves on‑site supervision, quality verification, and ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor all electrical installations on site.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements and technical documents.
• Verify that executed works comply with approved drawings, specifications, codes and project requirements.
• Coordinate electrical activities with architectural, structural, mechanical and other disciplines.
• Identify and resolve technical or coordination issues affecting progress.
• Conduct inspections, review contractors’ inspection requests and monitor testing & commissioning.
• Prepare as‑built drawings, technical reports and progress updates.
• Support the project team through construction, testing, commissioning and handover stages.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in site works and supervision.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, specifications, shop drawings and technical coordination.
• Proven experience in testing, commissioning and large‑scale building projects.
• Excellent coordination, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
