Electrical Sales Engineer

About the role

The Electrical Sales Engineer role is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Amman, Jordan. You will identify customer needs, prepare technical and commercial proposals, and promote a range of electrical products.

Key responsibilities

• Identify client requirements and prepare tailored proposals.
• Visit customers, deliver product presentations and support tender preparation.
• Follow up quotations to secure orders and achieve sales targets.
• Provide technical support before and after sales, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams.
• Maintain accurate records of opportunities, pricing and customer interactions.
• Build long‑term client relationships, monitor market trends and contribute to business growth.

Required profile

• Strong sales engineering and technical support abilities, with understanding of specifications, drawings and electrical systems.
• Proven sales and customer service experience, including account management and negotiation.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Experience with electrical products (wiring devices, cables, switchgear, accessories) and project‑based sales.
• Ability to work on‑site, travel within Jordan and manage time efficiently.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Basic knowledge of CRM tools.
• Familiarity with tendering processes and technical documentation.
