Electrical Technician

About the role

The Electrical Technician will work on‑site in Amman, installing, inspecting, maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment for construction and industrial projects.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine electrical maintenance and repairs in line with project specifications.
• Diagnose faults and troubleshoot electrical circuits, components and control panels.
• Support engineers with upgrades, modifications and implementation of new systems.
• Document maintenance activities and coordinate with project teams and site supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, local electrical codes and operational procedures.

Required profile

• Strong skills in electrical maintenance and practical experience with electrical equipment.
• Solid knowledge of electricity and proven troubleshooting abilities for circuits and control panels.
• Relevant technical diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (preferred).
• Experience in construction, industrial or infrastructure projects.
• Understanding of safety standards, local electrical codes and best on‑site practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and equipment manuals.
