Experienced Associate - External Audit (KSA Market)

About the role

Deloitte is hiring an Experienced Associate in its Audit & Assurance practice (Jordanian Resources Centre) based in Amman, working on the Saudi Arabian market. The associate builds stakeholder trust, delivers high-quality external audits and develops leadership and communication skills.

Key responsibilities

• Build trust with stakeholders by understanding their service level expectations
• Deliver high-quality services with awareness of regulation, risk management and controls
• Research key statistics and industry matters about the entity before the engagement
• Adapt template referral instructions to define the scope of procedures and the audit focus
• Liaise with onshore and offshore Centres of Excellence and track deliverables from component auditors
• Link risks, controls, procedures and findings across the audit file and link audit quality milestones to team completeness
• Challenge the timing of the audit plan and prepare documentation anticipating reviewer questions
• Develop relationships beyond finance, apply professional scepticism and follow practice protection policies
• Use AI responsibly in audit work, validating outputs and respecting confidentiality and data integrity
• Plan and manage engagements and people, meeting work plan specifications and deadlines

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting or a related field; graduate degree desired
• 2+ years of experience in public auditing and accounting, preferably in Big Audit Firms
• Supervision of staff, inspection of client financial records, analysis of data, preparation of audit reports and resolution of accounting research issues
• International accounting qualification desired: CA, ACCA or CPA, preferably CA
• Fluent English (reading, speaking and writing); bilingual Arabic/English preferred
• Willingness to travel to KSA when needed
