Fire Protection Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Fire Protection Engineer to join our Life Safety & Security division in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. You will be responsible for designing, reviewing and delivering fire protection systems for industrial, oil & gas, healthcare and commercial projects, working directly with clients, consultants and Civil Defense.

Key responsibilities

• Design fire sprinkler, standpipe, fire alarm and suppression systems and perform hydraulic calculations.
• Review drawings and specifications against NFPA standards and the Saudi Building Code.
• Prepare technical submittals and support Civil Defense approval processes.
• Conduct site surveys, inspections and commissioning, documenting findings and corrective actions.
• Support estimation and preparation of technical proposals for new projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering or Safety Engineering (strict requirement).
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on fire protection engineering experience.
• Working knowledge of NFPA 13, 14, 20, 72, 101 and the Saudi Building Code.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and hydraulic calculation software.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Dammam; transferable iqama or Saudi national.
