First Line Sales Manager

About the role

MS Pharma, a regional pharmaceutical company developing, manufacturing and distributing generic and biosimilar medicines, is hiring a First Line Sales Manager. The role trains and guides the Medical Representatives team, oversees promotion plans, follows up on performance indicators and solves outstanding issues, while providing technical support and monitoring market dynamics.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the achievement of monthly, quarterly and annual targets and analyse the market and competition.
• Train medical representatives on product promotion methods and give them technical product information.
• Follow up on promotion plans and strategies, track performance indicators and monitor the promotion team's budgeting report.
• Monitor key performance indicators for medical representative visits and adjust goals daily, weekly or monthly, keeping visit schedules accurate.
• Supervise annual sales promotions, ensure compliance and direct corrective actions to overcome obstacles.
• Contact key customers such as physicians and pharmacists, and visit doctors and specialists to share product updates and benefits.
• Oversee medical lectures and seminars, and supervise the preparation of medical studies and scientific materials for conferences.
• Build and maintain a market database covering supply and demand norms, market prices and competitor activity.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Pharmacy or a related field.
• Minimum of eight years of experience in a related field, with at least three years in a senior position.
• Proficiency in written and spoken Arabic and English.
