Senior Consultant - Beauty

About the role

Chalhoub Group, a luxury retailer with a portfolio of over 10 owned brands and more than 400 international names across beauty, fashion, jewellery, watches and eyewear, is hiring a Senior Consultant for its beauty category. The role centres on welcoming customers, understanding their beauty needs and giving personalised product recommendations across fragrance, skincare, makeup and other beauty lines.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to store targets through effective selling, cross-selling and upselling.
• Build strong customer relationships and encourage loyalty and repeat visits.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, brands, new launches, promotions and beauty trends.
• Deliver a high standard of customer service and handle customer concerns professionally.
• Support and guide junior sales team members, sharing product knowledge and selling best practices.
• Ensure products are correctly displayed, replenished, priced and presented according to brand and store standards.
• Monitor stock availability and coordinate with the team on replenishment.
• Support daily store operations, including opening and closing, cash handling where applicable and store standards.
• Take part in product launches, promotions, events and other initiatives aimed at increasing sales and engagement.
• Support the Store Manager and supervisors in achieving commercial KPIs.

Required profile

• Previous experience in beauty or luxury retail.
• Strong sales and customer-service skills.
• Good knowledge of beauty products.
• Ability to work toward targets and to coach or support new team members.
