Fit-Out Project Manager – Civil/Architectural

About the role

Al-Ma'bar For Contracting seeks an experienced Fit-Out Project Manager to lead commercial, hospitality, retail, office and high‑end interior projects from mobilization through final handover in Amman.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, mobilize, execute, test, snag and hand over fit‑out projects, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, quality and HSE standards.
• Coordinate architectural, civil, MEP, joinery, ceiling, flooring, painting and finishing works while managing subcontractors, suppliers, site engineers and project teams.
• Review drawings, BOQs, material submittals and project requirements; prepare and monitor schedules, manpower, procurement and site progress.
• Control project costs, variations and additional works; identify risks, delays and technical issues and implement corrective actions.
• Manage inspections, snag lists, close‑out documentation and final handover, liaising with clients, consultants and designers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or related discipline.
• 7–10 years of hands‑on experience in fit‑out activities and managing commercial, hospitality, retail or office interior projects.

Required skills

• Fit‑out construction methods, sequencing and material knowledge.
• Subcontractor management and coordination of multidisciplinary trades.
• Project scheduling, cost‑control and overall project‑management capabilities.
