International Remittances Growth Specialist

About the role

Zain Cash is growing its International Remittances (IR) business, and the International Remittances Specialist supports this growth by identifying new market opportunities, expanding remittance corridors, strengthening partnerships with international remittance providers and increasing transaction volumes and revenue. The role also covers optimizing existing services and ensuring operational efficiency, accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the execution of international remittance growth initiatives and projects with global partners, including Western Union and Trans Fast.
• Identify opportunities to expand remittance corridors, increase transaction volumes and grow revenue, and strengthen relationships with international remittance partners.
• Analyze remittance performance, market trends and customer behavior to recommend growth actions to management.
• Document operational processes and recommend improvements, and run regular market research, competitor analysis and reports to support decisions.
• Build customer profiles and segment customers geographically, demographically, psychographically and behaviorally to target retention, up-selling and cross-selling campaigns.
• Develop, implement and manage cross-selling, up-selling and retention campaigns across SMS, telesales, call center and shop representatives, and build business cases for new promotions.
• Support marketing plans for the Business Marketing segment and run detailed analyses of customer behavior, channels, churn and active base to forecast interest and optimize campaigns.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in remittances, payments, financial services or business development.
• Experience supporting international remittance operations, projects or business growth initiatives.
• Knowledge of remittance market dynamics, partner operations and relevant compliance requirements.

Required skills

• Preferred: strong analytical skills and understanding of remittance indicators such as transaction volumes, revenue, FX and profitability.
• Preferred: strong communication, negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Preferred: ability to turn market and customer insights into growth opportunities, and to work in a fast-paced environment.
