Sales Supervisor (FMCG) - Irbid

About the role

The Sales Supervisor leads and manages the sales team to achieve targets, enhance customer satisfaction and drive business growth in the FMCG sector. The role covers daily retail operations, sales strategy implementation and product availability and visibility in retail outlets, while building strong client relationships and analysing market trends. It is based in Irbid, Jordan.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the retail team meets sales targets and KPIs, and implement strategies to grow market share and revenue in the Irbid region
• Maintain high customer satisfaction through prompt service and long-term relationships with key clients and retail partners
• Identify new business opportunities, conduct market research and ensure the brand image is consistently represented in retail outlets, including merchandising and promotions
• Streamline retail operations, ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations, and lead, coach and develop the sales team
• Report regularly to senior management on sales performance, market trends and business challenges, and propose improvements to sales processes

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or a related field; additional certifications in sales management, retail operations or leadership are a plus
• At least 6 years of experience in retail sales, preferably in the FMCG industry
• Proven track record of managing sales teams and achieving sales targets
• In-depth knowledge of the FMCG industry, including market trends, customer behaviour and competitor analysis
• Familiarity with local market dynamics in Irbid, Jordan

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of retail sales processes, including merchandising, inventory management and customer service
• Sales performance metrics and tools for tracking and analysing sales data
