Laboratory Technician

About the role

Telescope Medical Center is seeking a qualified Laboratory Technician to join its medical team in Amman. The role involves performing a wide range of laboratory tests and procedures while ensuring the highest standards of accuracy and patient safety. Candidates will work in a shift‑based environment, including occasional evening shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests and procedures accurately and efficiently.
• Collect, label, prepare, and process patient samples according to established protocols.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper handling of materials.
• Document and report laboratory results with precision.
• Adhere to infection control, safety, quality, and laboratory standards.
• Monitor supplies, report shortages, and flag equipment issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant laboratory experience.
• Valid professional license/registration where applicable.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
