Loss Prevention Officer

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Loss Prevention Officer to safeguard our property and ensure the safety of guests and staff. The role involves patrolling the premises, monitoring security systems, and responding swiftly to incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property and control access to rooms.
• Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarm, duress alarms and fire life‑safety systems.
• Lock property entrances when required and conduct daily hazard inspections.
• Respond to accidents, provide first aid/CPR, and coordinate with EMS.
• Assist guests and employees during emergencies and defuse disturbances.
• Prepare incident reports, loss‑prevention shift summaries and maintain confidentiality.
• Escort unwelcome persons, report vehicle accidents/thefts and call for assistance using proper codes.
• Conduct investigations, gather evidence and interview relevant parties.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and lift up to 50 kg unaided.
• Physical fitness to run, jog or move quickly in response to incidents.
• Clear communication skills and professional appearance.
• Willingness to follow company policies, safety training and confidentiality requirements.

Required skills

• Operating and monitoring CCTV systems.
• Handling alarm and fire‑life‑safety systems.
• First aid and CPR certification.
