Loss Prevention Officer

About the role

The Loss Prevention Officer is responsible for safeguarding the property, guests, and employees by monitoring security systems, responding to incidents, and conducting regular safety inspections. This full‑time position works on‑site at a hospitality venue in Amman.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property and control access to rooms.
• Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarms, duress alarms, and fire‑life‑safety systems.
• Lock and unlock property entrances as required.
• Perform daily physical‑hazard inspections and report safety issues.
• Respond to accidents, provide first aid/CPR, and contact EMS when needed.
• Assist guests and employees during emergencies and defuse disturbances.
• Complete incident reports, shift summaries, and loss‑prevention documentation.
• Escort unwelcome persons and investigate thefts or vehicle accidents.
• Maintain confidentiality of all security and property information.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk, or run for extended periods.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lb unaided and up to 75 lb with assistance.
• Clear communication skills and professional appearance.
• Willingness to follow company policies, safety training, and licensing requirements.
