Loss Prevention Officer

About the role

The Loss Prevention Officer safeguards guests, employees and assets at a luxury hotel in Amman. You will patrol the property, monitor security systems and respond swiftly to incidents to maintain a safe environment.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property, assist guests with room access and lock entrances when required.
• Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarm, duress alarms and fire‑life safety systems.
• Conduct daily hazard inspections, respond to accidents, provide first aid/CPR and contact EMS.
• Defuse disturbances, escort unwelcome persons and report incidents to appropriate authorities.
• Complete incident reports, shift summaries and loss‑prevention documentation while maintaining confidentiality.
• Investigate incidents, gather evidence and conduct interviews with relevant parties.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand, walk or run for extended periods and lift up to 50 lb unassisted.
• Clear communication skills and professional appearance.
• Willingness to work full‑time on‑site in a hospitality environment.

Required skills

• Operation of Closed‑Circuit Television (CCTV) monitoring systems.
• Handling of alarm and fire‑life safety systems.
• First aid and CPR certification.
