Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

Talabat, part of the Delivery Hero Group, is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee preventive and corrective maintenance across its 13 store locations. The role covers critical systems, emergency response, technician supervision, tender preparation and landlord relations, and works closely with Operations, Quality Assurance and Procurement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor daily corrective and Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedules across all 13 stores to keep operations running.
• Manage contract execution and service delivery for PPM contracts covering chillers, freezers, HVAC, electrical infrastructure and structural racking.
• Act as the main technical contact for emergency repairs, working with Store Supervisors and Operations Managers.
• Prepare floor plans, technical drawings and layouts in AutoCAD for new stores, expansions and renovations.
• Lead tender package preparation, including technical layouts, Bill of Quantities and scope of work.
• Support the Assistant Operations Manager in technical interactions with landlords, site handovers and shared utilities.
• Direct the internal maintenance technician, optimising shift schedules, routes and task allocation.
• Initiate and follow up on Purchase Requests in the internal ERP system with Procurement.
• Ensure fire suppression, safety and emergency systems are tested and compliant.
• Work with Quality Assurance to fix and prevent recurring technical non-conformities and audit findings.
• Track routine maintenance OPEX against monthly budgets and coordinate municipal, trade and civil defence inspections and permits.
• Archive vendor invoices, completion certificates, leases and compliance permits for audits.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of experience in Facilities Management, E-commerce or Retail.
• Experience managing and developing team members.
• Strong stakeholder management, internal and external.
• Fluent English; Arabic is a plus.
