About the role
We are looking for qualified Mechanical MEP Quantity Surveyors to join a leading mechanical contractor in the United States. The role focuses on preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQs), managing quantities, and supporting cost control and tendering for HVAC and plumbing systems.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare BOQs for HVAC and plumbing systems.
- Perform quantity takeoffs from mechanical drawings.
- Analyze project specifications to ensure accurate measurements.
- Support cost estimation and tendering activities.
- Monitor material quantities and cost variations during the pre‑construction stage.
- Use Excel for quantity tracking and reporting.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 1–7 years of experience in mechanical or MEP quantity surveying.
- Fluency in English.
Required skills
- BOQ preparation.
- Quantity takeoffs.
- Strong Excel proficiency.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems.
- Knowledge of plumbing systems.
