Medical Doctor

About the role

The organization seeks a full-time Medical Doctor to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care at its Irbid, Jordan facility. The physician will assess patients, diagnose conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests to inform treatment decisions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and prescribe appropriate medications.
• Provide follow-up care, counseling, and health-management education to patients and families.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records using electronic health record systems.
• Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals in daily clinical activities.
• Participate in clinical meetings, adhere to clinical guidelines, safety protocols, and regulatory standards.
• Stay current with medical advancements and contribute to quality-improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Recognized medical degree (MD or equivalent) with a valid Jordanian medical license.
• Completed internship; residency training in a relevant specialty is preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment-planning abilities.
• Proficiency in accurate medical documentation and use of electronic health record systems.
• Effective communication skills with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to ethical practice, patient confidentiality, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple cases, and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Fluency in Arabic; working knowledge of English is an advantage.
• Dedication to continuous professional development.
