MEP Estimator – HVAC & Plumbing (Remote, Jordan)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced MEP Estimator / Quantity Surveyor specialized in HVAC duct, pipe and plumbing systems. The position is fully remote, based in Jordan, and supports a leading mechanical contractor in Chicago, USA.

Key responsibilities

• Perform quantity takeoffs for HVAC duct, pipe, and plumbing systems, including all accessories.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates using company‑provided estimation software.
• Analyse mechanical drawings and specifications to determine material selection, connections and system components.
• Support tendering and pre‑construction activities, ensuring accurate bills of quantities.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on MEP estimation or quantity surveying experience covering HVAC and/or plumbing.
• Proven track record of producing quantity takeoffs and cost estimates on real projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Experience with takeoff and estimation software such as Trimble, PlanSwift, Bluebeam, FastDUCT, FastPIPE, AutoBid or similar.
• Advanced Excel for calculations and reporting.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications independently.
