Private Sector Development Analyst – Surging Women’s Employment

About the role
UN Women Jordan is seeking a Private Sector Development Analyst to support the Surging Women’s Employment Flagship Initiative (SWEI). The role focuses on expanding decent employment opportunities for women by fostering gender‑responsive workplaces and innovative partnerships with the private sector across the Green, STEM, and Care economies.
Key responsibilities
- Contribute technically to the development of programme strategies for private‑sector engagement.
- Provide substantive inputs to the design, formulation and implementation of proposals, projects and initiatives.
- Identify and develop partnership approaches that move from transactional to value‑creating collaborations.
- Monitor results, ensure proper application of systems and procedures, and propose enhancements.
- Guide and facilitate UN Women’s work with private‑sector partners, government officials, donors and civil‑society actors.
- Collaborate closely with programme, operations, HQ and regional teams to ensure successful implementation of SWEI objectives.
Required profile
- Relevant experience in private‑sector development, gender equality and programme design.
- Proven ability to manage partnerships and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Experience in monitoring, evaluation and results‑based management.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
