Research Report Development Consultancy

About the role

The Danish Refugee Council (DRC) in Jordan seeks a consultant to analyse and consolidate findings from dialogue sessions with workers, especially youth and women, and businesses. The aim is to identify barriers, challenges and preferences related to working conditions and formal employment, and to produce a concise research report for dissemination.

Key responsibilities

• Review all documentation, dialogue session findings and related community‑based research provided by DRC.
• Analyse and synthesise qualitative data to identify key themes, barriers, incentives and differences in perspectives between workers and businesses.
• Draft, incorporate feedback and finalise a bilingual (Arabic and English) research report with clear findings and actionable recommendations.
• Prepare key messages and dissemination materials as required by DRC.

Required profile

• University degree in Economics, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Development Studies or a related field.
• At least 6 years of proven experience in research, qualitative analysis and report development, preferably in labour market or decent work contexts.
• Authorization to work in Jordan and fluency in spoken and written Arabic and English.

Required skills

• Strong qualitative research and data analysis skills.
• Ability to synthesise findings into clear, concise and accessible reports.
• Proficiency in preparing bilingual documents (Arabic and English).
