Sales Business Development Specialist

About the role

Avancer.ai is a startup that detects manipulated or fake media in video and audio formats and provides detailed reports on detected manipulation. It is hiring a full-time hybrid Sales Business Development professional based in Amman, Jordan, with some flexibility to work from home. The role covers identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, building a lead pipeline, and closing deals while meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new business opportunities and build a pipeline of leads.
• Reach out to prospective clients by calls, emails, social channels and in-person meetings.
• Present Avancer.ai's solutions, prepare proposals and negotiate terms to close deals.
• Collaborate with marketing to refine outreach strategies and perform market research on customer needs and the competitive landscape.
• Maintain accurate records in CRM tools and nurture long-term relationships.
• Provide attentive customer service and gather feedback to inform product and business strategy.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven sales or business development experience, preferably in technology, SaaS or cybersecurity products.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is a strong advantage.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment, manage time independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Interest in media authenticity, digital safety or AI technologies is beneficial.
