Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Jordan. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and supporting month‑end and year‑end closing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Record and maintain accurate accounting journal entries.
• Prepare periodic financial statements and management reports.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations.
• Monitor and manage accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Generate data analysis and reports using advanced Excel functions.
• Oversee daily accounting operations through the ERP system.
• Support monthly and year‑end closing processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 3–5 years of proven accounting experience.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, functions, reporting).
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems and accounting software.
• Solid knowledge of journal entries, bank reconciliations, accounts receivable/payable, and financial reporting.
