Senior Business Development Licensing Officer

About the role

As a Senior Officer in Business Development Licensing, you will drive the expansion of Axantia’s pharmaceutical portfolio by sourcing, assessing and securing new in‑licensing opportunities. You will lead cross‑functional due‑diligence, build commercial cases and manage the licensing process from initial evaluation through contract signing.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate in‑licensing opportunities that align with Axantia’s strategic priorities.
• Lead due‑diligence activities, coordinating internal teams and external partners.
• Develop commercial feasibility studies and financial business cases to support licensing decisions.
• Manage licensing projects from opportunity assessment through contract execution.
• Support negotiation and structuring of licensing, supply and technology transfer agreements.
• Collaborate closely with Regulatory Affairs, R&D, Finance, Marketing and Legal to ensure successful deal execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, PharmD or a related scientific field.
• 3–5 years of experience in pharmaceutical business development, licensing, product management or commercial analysis.
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical licensing processes, commercial evaluation and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical, communication, negotiation and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Fluent English.
