Senior Director of Operations

About the role

We are looking for an accomplished Senior Director of Operations to provide executive leadership over the organization’s financial, administrative and operational functions. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, you will ensure operational excellence, sound governance and financial sustainability while complying with donor and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Serve on the Executive Management Team, shaping organizational strategy and institutional development.
• Develop and implement operational and financial strategies aligned with the organization’s vision.
• Lead all financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and cash‑flow management activities.
• Oversee accounting, treasury, financial analysis and cost‑optimization initiatives.
• Manage procurement, logistics, fleet, warehouse, asset management, facilities and office administration.
• Strengthen internal controls, risk‑management processes and compliance with donor, statutory and policy requirements.
• Monitor operational and financial KPIs, preparing performance reports for senior leadership.

Required profile

• Extensive senior leadership experience in a complex organization.
• Strong financial background with proven expertise in budgeting, accounting and financial stewardship.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large‑scale administrative and operational functions.
• Experience driving digital transformation and process automation.
• Excellent strategic thinking, accountability and collaborative mindset.
