Senior Information Management Associate – S/NFI (Gaza Response)

About the role

The Senior Information Management Associate will serve as the technical reference for Information Management (IM) and geospatial work supporting the Shelter and Non‑Food Items (S/NFI) programme and MEAL functions. Reporting to the Information Management Officer, the role oversees data systems, dashboards and geospatial products to inform programme and management decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate implementation and routine monitoring of IM and GIS activities related to S/NFI programming.
• Oversee data systems, dashboards and geospatial products, ensuring data quality and accessibility.
• Research, compile, analyse and present information on project activities, beneficiaries, indicators and emerging developments.
• Provide technical support to programme management, implementing partners and external stakeholders on information requirements and reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information management, engineering or related field with at least five years of relevant experience, or high school diploma with seven years of experience.
• Minimum five years’ experience in IM systems and managing information flows for humanitarian projects, especially Shelter and Non‑Food Items.
• Demonstrated ability to analyse statistical information and understand various data collection methodologies.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Airtable (strong advantage).
• Knowledge of SQL databases.
• Experience using Microsoft Office suite.
• Geospatial skills: QGIS and ArcGIS.
• Familiarity with KoboCollect applications.
