Senior Proposal Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Proposal Specialist to join Mercer’s Strategic Client Enablement team in Amman, Jordan. In this role you will manage and coordinate complex new‑business and defensive bids, delivering high‑quality proposals and presentations that meet client needs.

Key responsibilities

• Write original content for proposals and presentations in response to RFPs, tailored to the audience’s knowledge level.
• Review draft contributions for clarity, conciseness and accuracy.
• Identify strategic opportunities within RFPs to enhance client value.
• Collaborate with internal resources to integrate specific information into proposals.
• Manage the proposal development process, including creating work plans and schedules.
• Formulate opportunity strategies in partnership with Client Managers and consulting teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Strong understanding of human‑resources, bids and consulting concepts and industry practices.
• Excellent oral and written English.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
