Senior Quality Assurance Officer

About the role

We are looking for a senior‑level Quality Assurance professional to lead and enhance the quality systems at our Al‑Mwaggar manufacturing site. The role combines strategic oversight of the Quality Management System with hands‑on mentorship of the QA team, ensuring compliance with international and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain a robust Quality Management System aligned with cGMP and international regulatory benchmarks.
• Lead internal and external audits, host regulatory inspections and resolve complex compliance issues.
• Identify quality risks proactively, drive preventive actions and manage the CAPA program.
• Oversee documentation workflows and provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for quality‑related escalations, collaborating closely with production and regulatory teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of QA experience in the pharmaceutical industry with demonstrated senior‑level responsibilities.
• Strong analytical, leadership and crisis‑management capabilities.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.

Required skills

• Expert knowledge of ISO standards.
• In‑depth understanding of cGMP guidelines.
• Experience with CAPA systems and local health‑authority regulations.
• Proficiency in managing Quality Management Systems (QMS).
