Technical Expert – WISEMED Project (Jordan)

About the role

The Institute for University Co-operation seeks a Technical Expert to support the WISEMED project in Jordan. The role focuses on financial and operational coordination of Work Packages 4 and 5, ensuring the project meets donor and procedural requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate financial and operational activities for WP4 and WP5 in Jordan.
• Monitor budgets, prepare financial reports and ensure timely reporting.
• Provide administrative follow‑up, data collection and documentation.
• Liaise with the National Agricultural Research Center (NARC) and other local stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with project procedures and Interreg NEXT MED donor requirements.
• Support ICU, NARC staff and local partners in financial matters.

Required profile

• Proven experience in international cooperation projects.
• Strong expertise in accounting, administrative and financial management.
• Ability to work effectively in a Jordanian context and with multiple partners.
