Digital & AI Programme Analyst – UNDP (Amman)

About the role

The Digital & AI Programme Analyst will support UNDP’s regional AI Sprint, focusing on the AI Landscape Assessment and Trust & Safety pillars, while also providing digital advisory support to UNDP Country Offices across the Arab States.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the AI Sprint across its four pillars, with particular emphasis on AI Landscape Assessment and Trust & Safety.
• Coordinate and integrate AI Sprint outputs with broader regional digital transformation initiatives.
• Provide digital advisory back‑stopping to UNDP Country Offices.
• Generate evidence‑based outputs and practical foundations for AI governance and capacity building.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective implementation.

Required profile

• Experience in digital transformation, AI governance, or related fields.
• Ability to work in a UN environment and navigate multi‑stakeholder contexts.
• Strong analytical, coordination and communication skills.
• Familiarity with the Arab States region and its development priorities.
