Tender & Supply Chain Business Partner – Iraq

About the role

Roche is looking for an agile and strategic Tender & Supply Chain Business Partner to support its operations in Iraq. You will act as a trusted co‑pilot, linking commercial ambitions with operational excellence and collaborating with local, regional and global teams as well as external distributors and public stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with internal stakeholders and distributors to review demand forecasts and ensure alignment.
• Manage logistics and shipment schedules, providing transparent updates to HQ Supply Chain.
• Oversee inventory health, authorize stock adjustments, monitor expiry dates and track inventory days.
• Coordinate local purchase orders with Global HQ and ensure warehouse readiness with quality teams.
• Drive end‑to‑end public tender processes from announcement through contract signing, delivery phasing and execution.
• Secure internal approvals before tender submission and manage communications with KIMADIA regarding quotations and awards.
• Collaborate with Finance to track deliveries, validate invoices, penalties and ensure financial stewardship.
• Develop data‑driven analyses of logistical challenges and deliver periodic reports to stakeholders.
• Work closely with Regulatory, Quality, Pricing, Compliance and other functions to align supply strategies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supply chain, logistics or tender management, preferably in a pharmaceutical or healthcare environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to work in a fast‑changing environment and adapt strategies accordingly.
