Accounting Intern

About the role

Kitopi is looking for a detail‑oriented Accounting Intern to support its finance team in Jordan. You will gain hands‑on experience across financial reporting, accounts payable/receivable, and month‑end activities while rotating through different finance departments.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and budgets under senior accountants’ guidance.
• Support accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, vendor management, and customer billing.
• Participate in month‑end and year‑end closing activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to reconcile discrepancies and resolve queries.
• Contribute to improving internal controls and accounting procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with accounting software applications.
