Associate Manager, Trade Optimization

About the role

The Associate Manager, Trade Optimization is responsible for preparing new machine launches, configuring market‑specific settings, and ensuring technical documentation is up to date. The role also provides technical training to internal teams and external partners, and supports the commercial sales process through cupping sessions, technical comparisons, and trade‑fair activities.

Key responsibilities

• Create and test machine settings, document configurations, and develop field management protocols (installation, preventive and corrective maintenance).
• Lead roll‑out projects for new solutions, including technical components such as payment systems and telemetry.
• Manage software upgrades, retro‑fit kits, and define spare‑parts stock levels based on customer and technical requirements.
• Provide technical support to the Commercial Team, maintain a test‑machine pool, and deliver training to operators and call‑center staff.
• Monitor issue management, quality control, and ensure compliance with best‑practice and preferred‑model lists.
• Maintain risk assessments, SOPs, and support local technology projects (e.g., payment systems).

Required profile

• Strong experience in beverage‑systems technical operations, preferably in coffee‑related equipment.
• Engineering background is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to train and support customers.
• Hands‑on mentality, flexibility, and ability to work in a matrix environment.
• Experience with quality‑management systems, analysis, and problem‑solving.
