Groups Coordinator – Hotel Reservations

About the role

The Groups Coordinator supports Marriott’s reservation operations by handling group bookings, changes, and cancellations for guests staying at our Dead Sea Road property. You will act as the primary point of contact for group reservation inquiries, ensuring accurate room blocks, special requests, and billing set‑up.

Key responsibilities

• Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received via phone, fax, or mail.
• Identify guest needs, verify room type availability, and explain guarantee, rate, and cancellation policies.
• Enter and maintain group rooming lists, adjust room blocks, and keep organized group files.
• Communicate VIP reservation details and coordinate with relevant departments to resolve accommodation challenges.
• Ensure accurate billing according to accounting policies and uphold company standards for appearance, confidentiality, and asset protection.
• Provide courteous guest service, assist individuals with disabilities, and maintain professional telephone etiquette.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least one year of experience in hotel reservations or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to follow sales techniques, and commitment to quality assurance.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
