Maintenance Technician – Guest Services

About the role

The Maintenance Technician ensures that guest rooms, public areas, and back‑of‑house facilities are kept in optimal condition. You will respond quickly to repair requests, perform preventive maintenance, and support the overall safety and comfort of the property.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to guest repair requests and communicate solutions promptly.
• Carry out preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen equipment, and mechanical room assets, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair air‑conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and pneumatic/electronic systems.
• Perform minor carpentry, painting, drywall, and wood‑trim repairs, as well as lighting and filter replacements.
• Maintain inventory, requisition parts, and use the Lockout/Tagout system before work.
• Repair interior and exterior landscaping, including sprinkler systems.
• Document daily activities and hand‑over information to the next shift.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge or ability to acquire knowledge in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic controls, carpentry, and general building systems.
• Ability to follow safety, security, and company policies.
• Physical capability to lift and move objects up to 50 lb and perform heavier tasks with assistance.
• Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
