Manager, Resource Mobilisation & Partnerships

About the role

ActionAid is seeking a dynamic Manager to lead resource mobilisation and partnership development across the Arab region. Based in Amman, you will work closely with senior leadership to secure funding and build strategic alliances that advance women’s rights, youth leadership, humanitarian response, and resilience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and periodically review the Arab Regional Office’s Resource Mobilisation Strategy, ensuring alignment with regional and global priorities.
• Provide strategic advice to the Regional Director and senior management on donor trends, partnership opportunities, and emerging funding sources.
• Lead donor engagement activities with institutional donors, trusts, foundations, and high‑net‑worth individuals.
• Collaborate with ActionAid International’s Business Development and Partnerships teams to identify and pursue new funding opportunities and innovative fundraising approaches.
• Represent the regional office with external partners, contributing to income diversification and financial sustainability.

Required profile

• Proven experience in resource mobilisation, fundraising, or partnership development within the humanitarian or development sector.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret donor trends, geopolitical developments, and funding landscapes.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills for high‑level donor and partner interactions.
• Willingness to travel across the Arab region and occasional global trips.
