Partnership Consultant

About the role

War Child International is seeking a Partnership Consultant to support the Building Resilient Futures project in Jordan. Based in Amman with regular field visits, you will work closely with four local partner organisations to strengthen their leadership capacities and promote holistic well‑being for children in conflict‑affected settings.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and nurture equitable, multi‑annual partnerships with local NGOs and community groups.
• Facilitate joint planning, implementation and monitoring of project activities.
• Provide technical guidance and capacity‑building support to partner organisations.
• Ensure compliance with War Child’s safeguarding, integrity and child protection policies.
• Report progress and challenges to the Project Lead / Programs Manager.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in partnership development, programme coordination or consultancy within the humanitarian or development sector.
• Strong understanding of conflict‑affected contexts and child protection principles.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Ability to work independently and travel for field visits within Jordan.
