PR and Communications Manager

About the role

The Public Relations and Communications Manager will shape Alef Education’s integrated communications strategy across all channels, ensuring a consistent tone of voice in both Arabic and English. This role translates business priorities into compelling narratives, drives brand visibility, and partners with marketing, leadership, and external agencies to deliver a unified communications presence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the annual communications plan, including monthly editorial calendars and key PR, social, and marketing moments.
• Manage PR and social media agencies end‑to‑end: scoping, briefing, performance reviews, budget control and contract renewals.
• Oversee freelancers, designers, and influencer partners.
• Coordinate external stakeholder approval cycles for co‑branded communications, partnership announcements, government releases and sponsor‑facing content.
• Implement campaigns across PR, social media, website, advertising and sales‑enablement channels.
• Own and govern Alef’s tone of voice across all channels in Arabic and English.
• Position Alef executives as thought leaders through op‑eds, keynotes and media features.
• Track communications impact: media coverage, share of voice, social engagement, sentiment and lead crisis communications when needed.

Required profile

• Educational degree in Marketing & Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or a related field.
• Proven experience developing and executing integrated communications strategies.
• Strong ability to work with cross‑functional teams and external agencies.
• Fluent in both Arabic and English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
