Senior Contracts Manager - EPC

About the role

The Senior Contracts Manager provides senior contractual support to the EPC leadership team and works closely with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Project Controls, Finance, Legal and site teams. The aim is to ensure contracts are administered in line with agreed terms, project requirements and the JV's governance framework.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the administration of EPC contracts, major subcontracts, purchase agreements and other project-related contractual arrangements.
• Ensure contractual obligations, deliverables, milestones, notices, securities, warranties, insurance requirements and other key provisions are monitored and complied with.
• Support the development, negotiation, award and administration of major construction and specialist subcontracts.
• Lead the contractual assessment and management of variations, change orders, claims, extensions of time and other contractual entitlements.
• Identify contractual and commercial risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Commercial Management, Law or a related discipline.
• Minimum 13 years of relevant experience, including substantial experience in contracts and commercial management on major EPC or construction projects.
• Strong experience in the power, energy, infrastructure, industrial or major construction sectors.
• Demonstrated experience administering high-value EPC contracts and major subcontracts.
• Experience on large, complex, multi-contractor and multinational projects is highly desirable.
