Senior Network Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and optimization of advanced data‑center network solutions in Abu Dhabi. The role is open to qualified professionals currently residing in Jordan and involves managing complex projects, providing Level 3 support, and ensuring network security and performance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of Cisco Nexus switches, Nexus Dashboard for VxLAN fabric, Fortigate firewalls, F5 load balancers (including WAF), and Checkpoint firewalls.
• Act as technical lead on projects, coordinating with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to meet deadlines.
• Conduct site surveys, risk assessments, and capacity planning for scalable network infrastructure.
• Produce detailed documentation such as network diagrams, configuration guides, and operational procedures.
• Provide Level 3 incident resolution, root‑cause analysis, and mentor junior engineers.
• Manage vendor escalations, firmware upgrades, patch management, and device lifecycle.
• Perform continuous network audits, optimize performance, and enforce security measures including VPNs and IDS/IPS.
• Research emerging technologies and recommend tools for monitoring, security, and automation.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in data‑center networking and network security.
• Strong project leadership and documentation skills.
• Ability to mentor and support junior engineering staff.
• Excellent problem‑solving and capacity‑planning capabilities.
