Senior Quantity Surveyor – EPC Projects

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor Engineer to join our EPC project team in Jordan. The role focuses on cost control, quantity surveying, contract administration and commercial management to ensure project profitability and compliance with contractual obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and manage Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and quantity take‑offs.
• Monitor project costs, budgets and cash‑flow forecasts.
• Review and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Prepare interim valuations, payment certificates and final accounts.
• Manage subcontract agreements, payments and commercial correspondence.
• Identify, evaluate and negotiate variation orders and change requests.
• Prepare and assess contractual claims, extensions of time and commercial entitlements.
• Review and interpret contract documents, specifications and drawings.
• Support tendering activities, cost estimation and commercial evaluations.
• Analyze project risks and recommend mitigation measures.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Planning and Finance teams.
• Prepare monthly commercial reports, cost forecasts and profitability analyses.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in quantity surveying and commercial management, preferably on EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts and contract administration.
• Experience in variation management, claims preparation and dispute resolution.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
• Jordanian nationality (required).
