Senior Sterile Production Technician

About the role

The Senior Sterile Production Technician leads sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing in a controlled clean‑room environment. You will ensure full compliance with GMP, aseptic techniques, SOPs and quality standards while supporting continuous improvement and guiding junior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and supervise sterile manufacturing operations according to approved procedures and batch records.
• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot sterile filtration, filling, and sterilization equipment.
• Maintain strict clean‑room gowning and aseptic practices.
• Monitor critical process parameters, report deviations and investigate root causes.
• Complete batch documentation accurately and on time.
• Support production planning to meet targets.
• Train and mentor junior production technicians.
• Ensure cleaning and sanitisation of equipment and production areas.
• Collaborate with QA, QC, Engineering and Maintenance to resolve issues.
• Participate in investigations, CAPA, change controls and improvement projects.

Required profile

• Diploma in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology or related scientific field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Proven experience in aseptic processing and clean‑room operations.
• Willingness to work in shifts.
