Senior System Administrator

About the role

We are seeking a Senior System Administrator to join our IT team and ensure the stability, performance, and security of our production and business‑critical environments. The role involves deep technical work on SAP, HANA, and database platforms, as well as mentoring junior staff and driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert support for complex SAP and HANA troubleshooting and ticket resolution.
• Prepare data and technical information for internal and external security audits and implement remediation actions.
• Troubleshoot SQL and HANA databases, optimise performance and manage backups.
• Diagnose and resolve advanced network and infrastructure issues.
• Mentor Officers and Associates in their daily tasks.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, best practices, and the IT knowledge base.
• Coordinate with vendors for escalated issues.
• Participate in IT process improvement, project planning, and implementation.
• Perform any other reasonable duties assigned by supervisors or IT leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in system administration, preferably in production environments.
• Strong ownership, responsibility, and accountability for assigned tasks.
• Ability to troubleshoot independently before escalating.
• Proactive in identifying risks and infrastructure improvement opportunities.
• Good understanding of upgrade and migration processes.
