Sr. Officer, Procurement

About the role

Hikma Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Senior Officer, Procurement to support its Research & Development and Product Development operations in Amman, Jordan. You will manage the full SAP procurement lifecycle, ensuring that R&D teams receive the right materials and services on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end SAP procurement cycle: create Purchase Requests, issue Purchase Orders, and confirm receipt of goods or services.
• Raise Service Requests for external vendors, contractors, and specialist groups, coordinating procurement for clinical studies and third‑party testing.
• Review vendor quotations, interpret commercial terms, pricing structures, and delivery milestones to correctly format PRs.
• Act as the first point of contact for Purchase Request issues, troubleshooting discrepancies and resolving system or approval blockers.
• Maintain Purchase Requests as living documents, updating specifications, quantities, and sourcing details throughout the development lifecycle.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement, preferably within pharmaceutical or R&D environments.
• Strong cross‑functional collaboration skills with Supply Chain, Finance, and R&D teams.
• Detail‑oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple requests and deadlines.
