Supply Chain Support Service Provider (3-Month Contract)

About the role

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is looking for a service provider to give temporary support to its Supply Chain department for three months. The assignment supports timely processing of routine supply chain activities, completion of outstanding administrative tasks and maintenance of accurate documentation. It is based in Amman and is paid monthly in Jordanian Dinars after verification of completed deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Generate all required procurement documentation and keep records and files impeccably.
• Coordinate between Program, Supply Chain, finance and vendors on procurement matters.
• Assist program staff with procurement initiation forms and provide price estimates when possible.
• Support RFQ processes, including segregation of duties.
• Conduct regular market surveys.
• Prepare payment requests, gather documents and coordinate with Finance so suppliers receive payment.
• Support medication receiving and registration in the Integra system, and update inventory records.
• Monitor assets, report on them and follow up.
• Coordinate transport of procured items to other IRC locations and manage staff transportation.
• Keep staff informed of request and delivery status and stay in regular contact with the supervisor.
• Perform any other supply chain tasks within the scope of the TOR.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, Procurement or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in supply chain and logistics.
• Very good command of Arabic and English, written and spoken.
• Preferred: at least 1 year of professional supply chain experience (procurement, inventory, assets and transportation), preferably with an INGO.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet tools.
• ERP system experience.
• Attention to detail, ability to multi-task, self-organized, team spirit and problem-solving.
