Technical Sales Engineer – Steel & Solar Mounting Systems

About the role

Philadelphia Solar is looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to drive growth of steel products and solar mounting structures in local and international markets. The role blends technical expertise with commercial responsibilities, requiring close coordination with customers and internal teams to deliver compliant and profitable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage sales opportunities for steel products and solar mounting structures across local and international markets.
• Prepare technical and commercial offers, quotations, and proposals based on customer requirements and tender documents.
• Coordinate with Design, Engineering, Production, Procurement, Finance, and Logistics to ensure smooth project execution.
• Provide technical support on steel structures, profiles, materials, coatings, and installation requirements.
• Maintain strong customer relationships, monitor market trends, and prepare sales forecasts and reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5–8 years of experience in technical sales, steel structures, solar mounting systems, or related industries.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and travel for customer meetings and site visits.

Required skills

• Knowledge of steel profiles, ZAM/Magnelis, HDG/GI, structural steel, and solar mounting systems.
• Understanding of structural drawings, BOQs, technical specifications, and engineering requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and engineering/design software.
