AI Solution Architect

About the role

A leading global pharmaceutical company is looking for an AI Solution Architect to define, govern, and evolve the enterprise AI technical architecture. The role serves as the technical authority within the AI Centre of Excellence, ensuring AI initiatives are scalable, secure, compliant, and aligned with the company’s digital transformation strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the enterprise AI architecture framework, including reference architectures, design patterns, and integration blueprints across cloud and on‑premises environments.
• Collaborate with the Architecture advisory board to align the AI roadmap with overall digital transformation and enterprise IT principles.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and provide technical direction to senior stakeholders.
• Lead architectural governance for all AI projects, ensuring compliance with security, regulatory, and scalability standards.
• Design end‑to‑end AI solutions for Manufacturing, Quality, R&D, Commercial, Supply Chain, HR, and Finance domains.
• Produce architecture deliverables such as solution design documents, ADRs, technical specifications, data flow diagrams, and integration blueprints.
• Define integration patterns with SAP, MES, LIMS, CRM, and M365 ecosystems.
• Guide AI developers in translating designs into production‑ready solutions and oversee MLOps pipeline design.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and governing enterprise AI architectures.
• Strong understanding of AI platform standards, security, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams including AI engineers, business partners, and domain leaders.
• Experience leading technical design reviews and architecture assessments.

• Cloud AI services: Azure, AWS, GCP.
• MLOps platforms and pipelines.
• Data platforms and integration middleware.
• Enterprise system integration: SAP, MES, LIMS, CRM, M365.
• Architecture documentation: solution design documents, ADRs, data flow diagrams.
