Back-End Developer (Node.js)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Back-End Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality, performant solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable backend services with Node.js.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and third‑party integrations.
• Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code in JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Design database schemas, optimize queries, and manage indexing.
• Integrate caching solutions such as Redis.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices (JWT/OAuth).
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve system reliability.
• Optimize application performance and scalability.
• Write unit, integration, and API tests.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.

Required profile

• 4–7 years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with Express.js, NestJS or similar frameworks.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design.
• Hands‑on experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB or similar databases.
• Knowledge of database design, indexing, and query optimization.
• Familiarity with Redis or other caching technologies.
• Understanding of JWT/OAuth and application security.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud platforms.
• Exposure to microservices, message queues, and AWS/Azure/GCP is a plus.
