About the role
Join Accor’s hospitality team as a Commis I, providing friendly and proactive service to guests while supporting kitchen operations. You will work in a fast‑paced environment, preparing a la carte and buffet dishes according to hotel standards.
Key responsibilities
- Consistently deliver professional, courteous guest service.
- Prepare and serve all food items for a la carte and buffet menus following hotel recipes.
- Maintain proper product rotation in chillers to minimise waste.
- Accurately process storeroom requisitions.
- Know all menu items, daily features and promotions.
- Keep work areas, utensils and equipment clean and well‑maintained.
- Follow kitchen policies, safety and sanitation procedures.
- Participate in daily shift briefings and share ideas.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required profile
- Previous experience in the culinary field.
- Journeyman papers or international equivalent (asset).
- Culinary diploma or certification (asset).
- Strong interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
- Highly responsible, reliable and able to work under pressure.
- Team‑oriented with a focus on guest needs.
