About the role
The DEERS/RAPIDS Administrator supports the issuance of military identification cards, Common Access Cards (CAC), and related credentials for eligible personnel. Working within V2X’s global operations, the role ensures accurate processing of ID requests, maintains system integrity, and provides guidance on eligibility.
Key responsibilities
- Process ID cards, ID tags, Geneva Convention cards, Teslin cards, and CACs, verifying source documents and eligibility per AFI 36-3026 and DoD RAPIDS guidelines.
- Manage appointment scheduling via telephone, email, and the DMDC centralized system, updating calendars and providing same‑day responses.
- Maintain 100% accountability of serial‑numbered ID cards, report missing cards, and control inventory to avoid issuance interruptions.
- Register, update, and reconcile DEERS and RAPIDS data daily, responding to inquiries within defined timeframes.
- Assist customers with eligibility questions, enroll/disenroll personnel in DEERS, and issue contractor ID badges.
- Perform routine operator‑level maintenance on RAPIDS workstations and printers according to VOIS standards.
Required profile
- Familiarity with AFI 36-3026, DoD RAPIDS Workstation, and VOIS.
- Experience handling sensitive government identification processes.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet strict turnaround times.
- Willingness to travel to the US Embassy in Amman for passport assistance when needed.
